Personal data protection

By filling in the registration form or placing a binding order in the online store, the buyer gives the seller consent to collect and archive personal data about the buyer and their purchases. Our company respects the law on personal data protection; we do not provide any information to third parties (except the shipping company) and we do not send any marketing information to your email unless you activate the newsletter service.

Protection of the personal data of a buyer who is a natural person is provided by Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on Personal Data Protection, as amended.

The buyer consents to the processing of the following personal data: first name and surname, residential address, delivery address, country, identification number, tax identification number, email address, telephone number (hereinafter collectively referred to as "personal data"). The conditions for processing personal data and the specification of the specific personal data for which the buyer hereby expresses consent are contained here: https://strihacistrojky.cz/gdpr

The buyer consents to the processing of personal data by the seller for the purpose of fulfilling the rights and obligations under the purchase contract.

The buyer acknowledges that they are obliged to provide their personal data correctly and truthfully (during registration, in their user account, when placing an order via the web interface of the store) and that they are obliged to inform the seller of any changes to their personal data without undue delay.

The seller may entrust the processing of the buyer's personal data to a third party as a processor. Apart from the persons delivering the goods, personal data will not be transferred to third parties without the prior consent of the buyer.

Personal data will be processed for an indefinite period. Personal data will be processed in electronic form by automated means or in printed form by non-automated means.
The buyer confirms that the personal data provided is accurate and that they have been informed that the provision of personal data is voluntary. The buyer declares that they have been informed that consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn in relation to the seller by written notice delivered to the seller's address.

If the buyer believes that the seller or the processor (Art. 1.52) is processing their personal data in a way that conflicts with the protection of the buyer's private and personal life or with the law, in particular if the personal data is inaccurate with regard to the purpose of its processing, they may:

  • ask the seller or processor for an explanation,
  • demand that the seller or processor remedy the situation. This may include blocking, correction, completion, or deletion of personal data. If the buyer's request is found justified, the seller or processor will immediately remedy the defective state. If the seller or processor does not comply, the buyer has the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection directly. This provision does not affect the buyer's right to submit a complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection directly.

If the buyer requests information about the processing of their personal data, the seller is obliged to provide it. The seller has the right to charge a reasonable fee for providing the information, not exceeding the costs necessary to provide it.

Out-of-court dispute resolution:

Dear consumer, if you believe we have harmed you or failed to meet our obligations, please write to our email address info@strihacistrojky.cz.

If we are unable to resolve the dispute directly, under Act No. 378/2015, which amends Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, you also have the right to out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. The entity (ADR) for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes between a trader and a consumer is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, or another entity authorized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, see http://www.mpo.cz/dokument169867.html.

At the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, the consumer can submit a proposal via the online form available on the Czech Trade Inspection Authority's website: https://adr.coi.cz/cs. The consumer may submit a proposal to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority or an authorized entity no later than 1 year from the day they first exercised the right that is the subject of the dispute with the seller. The consumer may also submit a proposal via the EU platform for online dispute resolution, available online at: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home.show&lng=CS.

Only a consumer living in the EU can submit a proposal here against a trader established in the EU. If the disputing parties are not satisfied with the quality of the out-of-court consumer dispute resolution and believe that the rules for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution were violated during the proceedings, they may file a complaint with the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the email address adr@mpo.cz. In the case of cross-border disputes, the European Consumer Centre Czech Republic helps consumers access the relevant out-of-court consumer dispute resolution entity. The costs associated with out-of-court consumer dispute resolution are borne by the parties themselves.
