7 tips for beautiful hair

So when you decide to go for wild curls or, on the contrary, straighten your hair, it's a good idea to keep the stress on your hair to a minimum. Here are a few tips on how to care for styled hair.

1. Quality hair cosmetics

Investing here really pays off. A quality shampoo and conditioner will do most of the work for you. With professional products, all you need is a drop the size of a hazelnut, which will lather up the entire head of hair. Cheap shampoos don't really treat your hair, so you end up using more of them.

2. Too much of a good thing

If you overdo it with products, your hair will go limp and may get greasy quickly. It's enough to wash with shampoo, use conditioner, and before styling, spray on a heat protectant. If you straighten your hair regularly, it's a good idea to apply a regenerating mask once a week.

3. Be gentle with wet hair

Wet hair is very prone to breakage and damage. So definitely don't rub it with a towel or comb it right after washing. First, let it dry a bit or blow-dry it.

4. Use a brush when blow-drying

If you dry your hair with a brush (preferably one with boar bristles), it won't break as much. Plus, hair styled this way looks less frizzy, and you can save it from further torture with a straightener.

5. If you blow-dry, use ionic technology

Ions break water particles into even smaller ones, improving their absorption inside the hair. This restores the natural moisture balance inside the hair shafts, so they don't dry out as much and don't fly around. This technology is used by the Power Style, Ventus, Turbo Booster, and Super Dry dryers, which you can find in our e-shop.

6. Straightening doesn't mean burning

Of course, it's tempting to crank the straightener up to 210 degrees and have sleek hair in no time, but that's a real shock to your hair. It's much better to straighten at a lower temperature, but in thinner sections so you don't have to go over them multiple times. Also, a ceramic or ceramic-tourmaline straightener is definitely gentler on your hair. If you have fine, brittle hair, don't even touch anything else. We can recommend, for example, the Cera Style straightener from Moser, or the Cutek Advanced from Wahl, both available on our site.

7. You can also skip the styling

Rest is truly essential for your hair if you don't want it to start falling out noticeably. A tight ponytail every day or backcombing definitely doesn't do your hair any favors.

Appreciate what you have

Even with hair, it's probably true that beauty comes at a price. But we don't have to pay by having completely ruined hair. We just need to be a little more considerate, and in return, we can show off a beautifully styled and healthy-looking mane.
