With cordless clippers, such neglect of the heads also leads to damage to the batteries, which discharge much faster, and with subsequent charging, the number of charge cycles is reduced.

To avoid problems with low battery capacity, we recommend charging the clipper only for the time necessary for charging. Therefore, do not leave the clipper connected to the mains after it has been charged.

Also, be careful not to mix up the charging stand of a new clipper model with an old one. This can cause irreversible damage to the clipper.

We also recommend not using a cordless clipper connected to the mains for longer than necessary – the connectors on adapters are not designed for that load, and a broken connector is a common problem. That then has to be solved by buying a new adapter. In some cases, the connector can even break off inside the clipper – repairing this type of damage is among the most expensive in the service center.

If you work in demanding conditions and occasionally have problems with a hot cutting head, we recommend buying a cooling and disinfecting spray Wahl Blade Ice. One spray is enough and the cutting head becomes ice-cold. In addition, the spray contains ingredients that destroy the vast majority of viruses and bacteria. Please note that the cleaning spray does not replace oiling the head.
