HEINIGER · SAPHIR STYLE #40 / 2B

Professional coat care starts with a tool that feels comfortable in your hand. Heiniger SAPHIR STYLE #40 / 2B is designed for careful coat clipping; choosing the appropriate blade helps tailor the cut to the animal and the desired finish. The specifications below help you choose equipment for salon use or regular grooming.

Features in practice

A single working speed of 2,650 double strokes per minute keeps operation straightforward, with no modes to switch. The balanced body weighs 425 g including the battery. Its 7.4 V / 1,600 mAh Li-ion battery provides up to 120 minutes of use and recharges in about 60 minutes, a useful balance when planning consecutive appointments.

Blades, combs and compatibility

The Snap-On system changes cutting length by swapping the complete blade. This is useful when alternating shorter and longer areas or keeping a spare blade ready. Check the length in millimetres and attachment system rather than relying on the blade number alone. A metal attachment comb fits over a suitable blade and provides another way to adjust length.

Power and workflow

Cordless operation gives you freedom to change the cutting angle and move around a client or animal. The stated runtime is a maximum: actual duration depends on load, battery condition and blade maintenance. Plan charging between appointments. With a two-battery set, a charged spare lets you resume work without waiting for the first battery to recharge.

Specifications at a glance

Designed for careful work

Check compatibility with your specific clipper before fitting. Snap-On refers to the matching detachable blade system, not every clipper from a particular brand. Work on clean, combed hair or coat without applying unnecessary pressure.

Care that pays off

Remove hair or coat residue after use and oil the cutting surfaces regularly as directed in the manual. A clean, properly lubricated blade runs more smoothly and maintains cutting quality. Switch the clipper off before changing accessories and check blade temperature during longer sessions.
